We are now leaning heavily on General Petraeus for success in conflicts with troops on foot. Our Soldiers and Marines need to both interface compassionately with civilians and have agile fight power. This calls for equipment that our troops don’t have and change that is tough to accomplish rapidly within a system meeting urgent needs of the war.
